AGH!
I’m so embarassed.
My boyfriend just left my house, and my mom saw a Hickey on his neck!
I didn’t even know I had given him one.
(I wasn’t trying to- most definitely not)
I feel so bad!
Because I think they look disgusting, and i feel really bad for my boyfriend.
What can I do to make up for it?
We’re both 16 by the way.
Please don’t say it will lead to sex, whatever.
I’m a responsible 16 year old, and actually planning on saving myself for marriage.
LOL its happen to the best of us and don’t feel bad its just one of those things.
But if you are really that concerned these are some quick fixes
Toothpaste
Cold spoons
Baking soda paste(just mix it with water)
Arnica tablets
High necked shirts
Scarfs
Good luck

heyy
theres nothing you really can do.
i mean a hickey is a hickey.
if he wants to get rid of it he should put a cold spoon on it.. or just leave it and eventually it will go away. it will take a few days though only because it is broken blood vessels in it.
just next time dont give him one =D

Ok what was the question?
Don’t be embarrassed you gave it to him.

Tell your mom that you are sorry about what she say and that you think it’s disgusting too, and it’s not something you actually try and do. Tell your boyfriend to ice the hickey at first to help it from turning more red, and then to apply a hot wash cloth to help clean up the mess, you can’t actually get rid of one, but you can help move the process along.

I know its embarassing, I’ve been there.
It got even worse when I went over to his house and his mother was like "oh and I just loved the hickey you left my son!" even though she was joking.
And I didn’t know I had given him one either, but I learned to get past it, because it will go away.
And I’m sure it’ll happen again someday (with anybody), but at least you’ll be prepared.
-Just relax, and you don’t need to ‘make up for it’, because it was his decision (in a way) to do it too.
-They will go away, so you won’t see it forever!
-Everyone does it!
Goodluck!

Heya purple. you have what is commonly called an -oops-, or ‘love bites’, although I don’t particularly like that term. Ok, so you got a little more passionate with him than you thought. Don’t stress over it; I bet mom has given/gotten one or two in her time. If she says nothing, hey, no prob. You might say ‘thanks mom’ for not saying anything to either of you, or some way to let her know it was an =oops=, and not the opening day of the Hoover Parade. As for saving yourself to you both say "I do"==> way to go. I’m 24 and in the last two weeks of Sept, my BF and I will be saying I do, and it will be the first time for both of us== AFTER the I do. We both made the committment, and we are staying with it.

Toothpaste would you believe will kget rid of it, or at least take out most of the purpleness. There is an active ingredient in the toothpaste which reduces bruising just place it on the skin and rub it from the centre of the hickey out.
Oh and btw….dont think ya mum would care to much its not like she caught you having sex. She was young once too so dont worry about her

Don’t sweat it! I once made my boyfriend go home to his mom’s house with hickies all over his neck. A couple of them I made sure still had my lip marks in nice red lipstick!
His mom teased him next time I came over, saying "those were wonderful hickies you made on my sons neck. Marking your territory? And where did you get that shade of lipstick??"
We both had a nice laugh at his expense, and he had to walk around for another two weeks with those hickies (I make GREAT hickies…)!
