I have a pretty large hickey on my neck. Thankfully it’s not dark – just little spots of red and purple. I have some concealer now that’s not doing a very good job of covering it
What’s the best makeup to cover a hickey? Foundation? Powder?
Thanks!
when my brother gets hickeys he gets a chapstick and with the cap he presses down and turns it at the same time right on top of the hickey and if you keep doing it then it will go away it hurts but atleast you’ll have no more Hickey

I always used to use powder, because I could never get the foundation to not crack , or match for that matter…if all else failed me, I used to wear a choker.

toothpaste first then foundation then poder on it!!!!!!!

Foundation first then add a little powder and then a second light coat of foundation. Spray or cream self tanners work great as well.
Try to wear a turtleneck. Sleeveless turtlenecks always look great.
Depending on the area a large chunky necklace may hide it.
Also a scarf knotted in the front will give really good coverage and will also look stylish.
Good luck!

I use a concealer stick in a shade lighter than my skin tone and powder on top of it. You have to watch out for the powder getting wiped off, though. That happens really fast, so you’ve got to pay attention. Keep a mirror with you.

Let 2 spoons sit in the freezer for a few min then rub one of them on it once its really cold. switch them out and do it again with second spoon. do this for a few times at least. IT WILL BANISH THE RED AND PURPLE A LITTLE. Then dot some concealer on. Let it sit for a few sec and then apply foundation. difumine with the rest of your skin

Apparently,
if you get a old battery and rub the flat end over the hickey for about 5 minutes, it reduces the redness.
It sounds crazy, but its meant to work.

Put a spoon in the freezer and then place it on your neck, it should get rid of the redness. Try placing some powder on top of your concealor.

Hey Amanda!
You need to use makeup that would blind into your skin. I think that a powder like makeup that people use on their face should do the trick as long it’s the same color as your skin.
